How to link POSB account with IPPB Saving account in Finacle?
If the POSB account is not linked to IPPB account while opening account, it can be linked subsequently on customer request. Following is the step by step procedure to link POSB account with IPPB account
- Login into Finacle. The command to link POSB account with IPPB account is CLDPOSB.
- So enter the command CLDPOSB and click on Go.
- Same command can also used to delink the account.
- The below screen will appear
- Select Function as - Link
- Firstly, enter IPPB Account Number and press tab button on keyboard. On pressing the tab button, details like Aadhar number, Name of customer and mobile number will be automatically populated.
- Secondly, enter POSB Account number and DOP CIF ID
- After that, select consent and Agent Declaration
- Then, Click on Generate OTP
- Enter six digit OTP and press tab button on keyboard to enable Validate OTP.
- After that click on Validate Button. You will get a message as account is successfully linked.
So for conclusion, in the first 2-3 days system will not allow any sweep in ( DOP to IPPB ) transactions but it will allow sweep out (IPPB to DOP) transactions.
