Surely many of us might
have been thinking what is so great about women's day and why do we celebrate
it. What great achievement did women make that they are given a day for
themselves to celebrate. That too on the international level. Yes! its called
the International Women's day. On this day i.e., on March 8th, women have got
their vote power in Europe. What's so special about it? Yes it is special and
indeed a day when women were given equal status with men. Who are men to decide
the status of women? Why should women be treated as house elves? Women
were deprived of many privileges which are their birth right because of the
arrogance of men. This day the 8th of march marks the first step of ending such
atrocities on women. Women were given the right to vote and
to hold public office.
Today we see in our day to day lives, scores of achievements by women. We all hail the achievements Ms.Chanda Kochar (CEO of ICICI Bank), Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya (Chair Person of SBI), Malala Yousufzai (Youngest Noble peace prize winner) and countless others. They are all setting us a great examples of what women can do when they are given equal opportunity. Its imperative that women are no less than men. In fact women have the greatest ability to give birth to children. That makes them superior in capabilities than men. The prejudice that women are less capable shall end.
Even in our department we see daily how hard our women force is working. They are staying late at offices to complete the Pre CBS work. Staying late at offices wrestling with Finacle so that our customers are fully satisfied. They are shouldering the responsibilities without a small hick up. They are our greatest motivation. They help us in our offices like sisters and care for us like mothers. Their contribution to the department is unfathomable. They make us proud. Yes we should be proud of our forever young ladies.

We also request all the men staff to thank all the women force in your offices for their services to the department. A small token of gratitude for them. Just Thank them.
