As per the notification
Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Dept of Revenue vide Notification no 21/2015-Servie Tax and 22/2015-Service Tax dtd 06.11.2015 has introduced cess of 0.5% as Swachh Bharat Cess w.e.f 15.11.2015 on services coming under purview of service tax. Accordingly service tax (including Swachh Bharat Cess) on PLI/RPLI Premia will be collected as under, w.e.f 15-11.2015
1) On 1st Year Premia,3.62%(including Swachh Bharat Cess of 0.5%)
2) On Subsequent Year Premia 1.82%(including Swachh Bharat Cess of 0.5%)
The amount will be booked under the Head Service Tax i.e,0044-00-146-01-00
